My Favorite Sessions from AWS Reinvent 2022

  • AWS re:Invent is an annual conference focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud computing platform. AWS offers a wide range of products and services, including data and analytics tools. These tools are designed to help businesses collect, store, process, and analyze large amounts of data, allowing them to gain insights and make more informed decisions.

  • At AWS re:Invent 2022, AWS announced updates to its data and analytics products and services. This included new features and capabilities for existing products, such as Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena. These tools are designed to help businesses perform complex data analytics tasks, such as running SQL queries, analyzing log data, and performing full-text search.

  • In addition to updates to existing products, AWS also announced new data and analytics services at re:Invent 2022. These included services DataZone, CleanRooms, Amazon Aurora zero-ETL integration with Redshift, OpenSearch Serverless and Redshift and Athena Integration with Apache Spark.
